An integrated prescribed burn will be conducted at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve on Wednesday, 1 November 2023.

The burn is weather permitting; a final decision will be made on the day.

Various role players, including Greater Overberg FPA, will assist with the burn.  Please note this is only general information to inform the public, Grootbos Private Nature Reserve is responsible for the safe execution of the burn. 

Residents can expect to see and smell smoke.
